Stage 11 : The Kentmere Horseshoe - Charities

Beginning in Kentmere, this beautiful fell walking stage covers ten of the peaks documented by Alfred Wainwright in a classic horseshoe route. We start off going north-east before heading over Wray Crag, and then onto Shipman Knotts and Kentmere Pike, at 730 metres.

We continue on to Brown Howe and Harter Fell, before turning at High Street, at the top of Racecourse Hill. Now on the other side of the horseshoe, we head across Thornthwaite Crag, Froswick, and Ill Bell, and then finally over Yoke, before looping back towards Kentmere.
